Description
The WPDS/CO2 carbon dioxide detectors use a professional-grade infrared sensor. They are designed to be connected to both control panels with 4÷20 mA inputs (such as the MODULA 4 and 8 control panel) and to digital control panels via RS485 serial connection (such as the MODULA 40 and 128 control panel).
WPDS detectors are suitable for use in industrial and commercial environments, and in all locations where a leak or abnormal concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) may pose a danger to people or cause deterioration of property. These detectors are particularly suitable for CO2 detection in mineral water bottling industries, water treatment plants, mixing and fermentation facilities, agricultural companies, wine cellars, and greenhouses for plants and flowers.
The PC/ABS plastic enclosure provides the detector with high mechanical resistance. Thanks to their high selectivity, WPDS/CO2 detectors are resistant to non-combustible gases or vapors often present in industrial environments.
