Description
The WPDS/CAx series combustible gas detectors use professional catalytic sensors. They are designed to be connected both to control panels with 4÷20 mA inputs (such as the MODULA 4 and 8 panels) and to digital control panels via RS485 serial connection (such as the MODULA 40 and 128 panels).
The WPDS detectors are suitable for use in all industrial and commercial applications where combustible gas detection is required. The WPDS detectors are particularly suitable for detecting combustible gases in covered or underground parking lots, garages, and boiler rooms. The WPDS/CAx sensor module uses a high-quality and precise catalytic sensor paired with industrial-grade control electronics, is replaceable to allow for quick and reliable maintenance of systems, and has a normal operational life of 5 years.
The PC/ABS plastic housing gives the detector high mechanical resistance. Thanks to its high selectivity, the WPDS/CAx detectors are resistant to interfering gases or combustible vapors often present in industrial environments.
