Description
MODULA 4 is a detection control panel specifically designed for use in all applications requiring continuous monitoring of toxic gases, combustible gases, and oxygen deficiency/excess in the air/environment.
The control panel features 4 built-in 4-20 mA analog inputs to which standard gas detectors with proportional current output can be connected. The control panel is also equipped with 1 zone relay output for each detector (4 total), 1 general alarm output, and 1 freely programmable auxiliary output.
The zone outputs can be associated with any of the alarm thresholds (Alarm 1, Alarm 2, Alarm 3, Full Scale+), or with the Fault of individual detectors. The alarm output can also be associated with any system alarm threshold. The auxiliary output can be associated with various conditions. The large backlit graphic display clearly shows the gas concentration measured by the detectors and the alarm thresholds for each detector.
The control panel is programmed using 5 navigation buttons and an intuitive user menu. LED indicators are also available on the front panel for immediate visualization of the control panel and detector status. The control panel is housed in a 9-module DIN rail mounting enclosure. Mains power supply is provided through an external 230/24 VDC power supply unit (not included).
