Description
The IRON/CAL series combustible gas detectors use professional catalytic sensors.
They are designed to be connected to both control panels with 4÷20 mA inputs (such as the MODULA 4 and 8 control panels) and to digital control panels via RS485 serial connection (such as the MODULA 40 and 128 control panels).
IRON detectors are suitable for use in all industrial and commercial applications where combustible gas detection is required. IRON detectors are particularly suitable for detecting combustible gases in covered or underground parking lots, garages, and boiler rooms.
The IRON/CAL sensor module head uses a high-quality and precision catalytic sensor combined with industrial-type control electronics, is replaceable to allow rapid and reliable system maintenance, and has a normal operational life of 5 years.
The aluminum alloy housing makes the detector particularly suitable for highly chemically aggressive environments, including marine environments, providing high mechanical resistance.
Thanks to their high selectivity, IRON/CAL detectors are resistant to interfering gases or combustible vapors often present in industrial environments.
The detectors comply with CEI 216/5-3 standard for combustible gas detectors used in industrial and commercial applications.
