Description
The UNIKA 2 control unit has been designed to meet multiple applications in industrial environments, commercial settings, and heating plants where it is necessary to monitor the environment for potential presence of combustible or toxic gases. The control unit replaces the historical WP/DIN2 unit, including all previously available functions and adding many new features, such as pre-alarm and fault relays and complete configurability via dip-switches.
The UNIKA 2 control unit is compatible with all threshold detectors in the BELT catalog (FLY, WPD12Mx, WPD12BR/Mx and WPDBR/CA3). Additionally, it is possible to connect any 4÷20mA linear detector with a maximum full scale of 50% LEL to the control unit. The presence of pre-alarm, alarm, and fault relays, plus a dedicated alarm relay to control a solenoid valve, allows for great flexibility in use.
