Description
MODULA 40 is a programmable control unit that can connect up to 40 gas detectors, including 8 standard linear 4÷20 mA detectors and 32 serial addressed detectors on RS485 line, for continuous monitoring of toxic gases, combustible gases, and oxygen deficiency/excess in air/environment. The control panel adapts perfectly to any gas detection application in industrial settings, including gas detection applications in parking garages thanks to compliance with EN50545-1 standard, which provides alarm thresholds calculated based on the average gas concentration present in the environment.
The graphic display and numerous default programs allow for quick configuration and commissioning of the control unit. The graphical visualization of gas concentration and alarm thresholds provides a clear and immediate indication of the hazard level of any gas present in the environment. The control unit is programmed using 5 navigation buttons and an intuitive user menu. LED indicators are also available on the front panel for immediate display of the control unit and detector status.
The control unit is housed in a 9-module DIN rail mounting enclosure. Mains power supply is provided through an external 230/24 VDC power supply unit (not included).
