Description
The SCACCO CO gas detector is powered by two powerful lithium batteries that provide the device with long life and autonomy over time. It is also available with 230V and 12/24 VDC power supply. The detector is manufactured in compliance with EN50291 standard. Each unit is calibrated with sample gas to respond to low concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO) in residential environments.
A high-quality and precise electrochemical cell is incorporated onboard, coupled with highly reliable control electronics. The detector features self-diagnostics that signals fault conditions with the yellow LED; the dedicated blue LED is used to indicate operating time and “end of life” status.
In case of alarm: The red LED activates with the gas presence light indication, The detector activates a powerful acoustic warning device and a relay, The relay’s changeover contact can control a gas shutoff valve or other external actuators.
