Description
The IRON/CA3S carbon monoxide detectors use a professional-grade electrochemical cell sensor and are designed to be connected both to control panels with 4÷20 mA inputs (such as the MODULA 4 and 8 panels) and to digital panels via RS485 serial connection (such as the MODULA 40 and 128 panels).
IRON detectors are suitable for use in all industrial and commercial applications where the detection of low concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO) in the air is required. IRON detectors are particularly recommended for CO detection in covered or underground parking lots, garages, and boiler rooms.
The sensor module head of the IRON/CA3S uses a high-quality and precision electrochemical cell paired with industrial-grade control electronics. The replaceable sensor module head of the IRON/CA3S allows for quick and reliable maintenance of installations and has a normal operational life of 5 years. The aluminum alloy housing makes the detector particularly suitable for environments with high chemical aggressiveness, including marine environments, providing it with high mechanical resistance.
Thanks to its high selectivity, the IRON/CA3S detectors are resistant to non-combustible gases or vapors often present in industrial environments.
